Pick Up Golf
Many people when they are beginning to pick up golf spend more time
perfecting their golf swing than discovering any other single skill for
golf. You should also expect to have this same need, after all a
terrible golf swing will result in poor playing skills while a stable
and refined swing will make you highly successful.

No, her breasts won't get in the way. The fundamentals are the same for men and women. Your wife might want to look into some women's golf associations. The EWGA is a great one. She'll meet other women who golf and have a chance to compete, if she wants, in handicapped events, even as a beginner and with a high handicap. Another group I've read about is called Women On Course; it emphasizes socializing as well as golf. These groups will also help your wife find local teaching pros who like working with women. I took a lesson from one just today who I met through the EWGA; I've been working on my hand position at the top of my back swing and was having trouble getting the club back to square at impact. The pro straightened me out and I was smoking my 3 wood at the range after! Oh, and btw, I swing around my body, not upright, and I can put a very nice draw on the ball ;-) |

As far as the movement, there is no difference. The difference would/ could be in the swing speed. A faster swing speed can result in the ball going further, but that can also cause more errant shots. A slower swing speed will result in the ball not going as far but can be much more accurate from the tee box. |

Well its just me but every time there's a chick in the foursome she usually has a very upright swing. not that its a bad thing since they usually cant get the ball in the air because of insufficient club head speed. Just my personal opinion |

Her right arm should be extended but not stiff. Her breasts will not get in the way. The difference between a man's swing and a woman's swing is that men have a tendency to use their upper body more than their lower body to swing. Women use their lower body more. If your wife wants to learn to play golf, she should find a teacher that works with women and understands a woman's swing because it is different than a man's although the very basic fundamentals are about the same. |
