Pick Up Golf
Many people when they are beginning to pick up golf spend more time
perfecting their golf swing than discovering any other single skill for
golf. You should also expect to have this same need, after all a
terrible golf swing will result in poor playing skills while a stable
and refined swing will make you highly successful.
Question: What will hit the ground first bowling ball or golf ball?

Neglecting air resistance, they will hit the ground at the same time. If you are factoring in air resistance, the golf ball will hit the ground first, because it is smaller.

They will hit at the same time

Golf ball because there's less weight EDIT: wait i'm wrong it's the bowling ball

That is just like ansking what will hit the ground first a beebe shot from a gun or droped impossible to figure out unless u r a mad scientist

Is this in a zero gravity enviroment? Cause it depends what angle the force is applied to it. EDIT: I thought this was a joke, turns out people are dumb and actually think this is hard to figure out. They hit at the same time. The only thing that would prove otherwise is the wind resistance. Go to the moon, its all the same.

If they are dropped at the EXACT same time, they will hit at the same time. It's just gravity gives the same force on every object

Bowling ball there is more weight meaning it will drop faster golf ball is too light

If on the moon, whichever one was dropped first. If dropped at the same time, they'd hit the ground at the same time. On earth, about the same result unless you dropped them from the top of a tall building then wind resistane becomes a factor otherwise mass makes no difference. They dropped a feather and a tool on the moon once and the both hit the ground at the same time. Why? No air. It proved mass didn't matter. Galileo's theory.

If dropped at the same time with no other force than gravity . They with hit the ground at the same time . because gravity remain a constant regardless of the mass of the objects.

Golf ball its lighter...more speed(think about if you throw a golf ball which would go farther?)
Posted by: Lindsss24 on 2010-03-11, 16:06:54
The same time if there is no air resistance. Gravity pulls objects down at 10 m/ s. If it was a feather and a golf ball the ballwould hit first cause with a feather there is air resistance. So ya same time

They should hit at the same time, if released from the same height and at the same time. GOOD LUCK
Posted by: Luke on 2010-03-11, 17:04:47
They'd hit at the same exact time. Everything on Earth falls at 9.8 m/ s (meters per second)

Golf ball beacuse the bowling ball has more air resistance so the golf ball will cut through the air faster, but it would be feally close so basically the same time but the golf ball would hit slightly first
