Pick Up Golf
Many people when they are beginning to pick up golf spend more time
perfecting their golf swing than discovering any other single skill for
golf. You should also expect to have this same need, after all a
terrible golf swing will result in poor playing skills while a stable
and refined swing will make you highly successful.

Question: What type of golf ball has the most spin.?
(Posted by: lilhern_93 on 2009-07-02 14:31:24)
I already know that the Pro V1 has great spin, but i am looking for a less expensive ball that has the same or even BETTER performance around the green. |

The taylor made tp black is a very high spin ball that is currently on sale at 2 dozen for 55 dollars. It definitely has as much spin as the prov1, and preforms better than the prov1 does for me. |

Try the Wilson Tx4 or the Bridgestone e-series. The Bridgestone ball will be under 30 bucks. I'm not sure about the price of the Wilson ball, but Wilson tends to sell their items lower than other manufacturers. Spin rate is 2nd highest on the market behind the Nike One Tour/ Platinum. |

No ball has spin. The softer covered ball will spin better than a hard covered ball provided it is struck properly. Have you noticed the difference in the way Tiger Woods has changed his approach shots over the past few years ? At one time he spun shots off the green into trouble. Now the same shots take a bounce or two and stop on the green.Aside from being a " talking " point please advise the advantages of " spin " ? |

Http:/ / golfdigest.com/ images/ equipment/ 2009/ 05/ eqil06golfball_robotchart.gif Here you go, a nice chart that'll tell you just about all you need to know, based on half-wedge shots with a 56* (unspecified) wedge. |
