Pick Up Golf
Many people when they are beginning to pick up golf spend more time
perfecting their golf swing than discovering any other single skill for
golf. You should also expect to have this same need, after all a
terrible golf swing will result in poor playing skills while a stable
and refined swing will make you highly successful.

Balance, good weight transfer, a relatively right locked arm(if lefty) or left locked arm(if righty). The swing should be smooth, with no sudden pauses. in the backswing, imagine forming a circle with the club. extend your arms and keep your right arm if lefty or left arm if right locked as long as possible. follow through in the same motion transfering your weight to your front foot. Do not swing to hard or else you can top the ball or slice. Keep your eye on the ball at all times, try not to move your head. When teeing off, position your feet so that the ball is lined up with your front big toe when hitting from the grass or sand, position your body so the ball is centered with your body |

Just how basic do you want to get? The grip, Setup, backswing, weight transfer, downswing, follow through and tempo are the very basic components. |

1. turn in your backswing so your chest is facing your right 2. get your right hand and your right hip together down thru the ball 3. turn to the target so your chest is facing your left if you play tennis think topspin forehand |

I guess The Simple Golf Swing works because all the common golf problems are addressed within its pages. If you for example have a problem with your drive, then you can read exactly what you should do to increase the distance of your drive (which I believe is a very common problem, my problem was inconsistency – before the ball seemed to go in a random direction every time I hit it). |
